FERTILIZING
For a thicker, greener lawn fertilize every 4-6 weeks beginning in early spring (March-April) with a final application heading into the winter months (October-November).

WEED CONTROL
The best way to control weeds in your lawn is to have dense grass. The best way to have dense grass is to follow the full service program with proper timing, application, and preparation being the most important steps to follow. We use the best surfactant/adjuvant in our spray applications to help with water management, soil compaction, and weed control.

INSECT & GRUB CONTROL
Grub control needs to be applied in mid-June to early July. If damage has already occurred there are treatments and an aggressive water regime can help reduce the damage followed by a fall renovation to help bring back dense healthy grass.

AERATION
If you want your lawn to grow fuller and thicker in spring then lawn aeration is a must. The roots receive more nutrients with lawn aeration and it allows water, oxygen and fertilizer to infiltrate the soil.

OVERSEEDING
Overseeding is often overlooked, but it is one of the most important tasks in maintaining a lush lawn. When choosing a grass seed read the label carefully. In this area we need to avoid mixes that contain coarse bladed varieties. In Kansas City the best performing grass mix is Blue Grass and Fescue.
